Fraternity of CareThe Tema Conter Memorial Trust was founded to raise awareness about the important issue of post-traumatic stress among emergency service professionals. In addition to public education and research, we are very concerned about reaching out to those who are directly affected by post- traumatic stress: frontline workers and their families. Unfortunately, tragic situations do occur that may result in the death of emergency service professionals. At these times, the Tema Conter Memorial Trust offers support to their remaining families by accepting donations on their behalf. This money may help the family as they deal with life beyond their loss while giving others an opportunity to show their respect for the profession as well as their concern for the families of fallen heroes. Donating money through the Tema Conter Memorial Trust to a family of an emergency service professional anywhere in Canada, be it fire, police or paramedic, is simple, secure and meaningful. Filling out our online donation form only takes a few minutes but it will mean a great deal to a family at a time of need. All donations will be acknowledged by a memorial card and eligible for a charitable tax receipt. The donation form is located here: |
